They are the workhorse format for snacks, powders, confectionery and single-serve packs, built around a strong vertical back seal that feeds fast and dependably on high-speed lines.
Do centre seal pouches use less material than other pouch formats?
Yes. Since there is no gusset base to form, they use less material than a gusseted format for the same fill volume, which keeps unit cost down at higher volumes.
Can centre seal pouches be made with a gusset, or as a bar wrap?
Yes. Beyond the standard pillow pouch, centre seal is available as a side-gusseted pouch for more fill capacity, or as a bar wrap for individually wrapped bars and single-serve items.
Is this format food-safe?
Yes. Food-contact structures use food-grade films, inks and adhesives and are produced in our BRCGS Grade A and FSSC 22000 certified plant in Sri Lanka.
